Teotihuacan, Estado Mexico, Mexico- Los Angeles Indigenous Peoples Alliance (LAIPA) has announced that its new Aztlanahuac Cultural Embassy, which represents more than a decade of research and work in creating the space, will officially open Saturday August 27, 2022 to Sunday, September 04, 2022.

About the event
The Aztlanahuac Cultural Embassy will be in Teotihuacan, Estado Mexico, Mexico. Located one block from the Pyramid of the Moon, the Aztlanahuac Cultural Embassy is positioned to allow visitors the rare opportunity of staying within sight of this sacred site to connect and reflect on its significance in their lives and the lives of their ancestors. There will be programming available for guests throughout the year, organized upon reservation and based on the interests of the groups. Options include but are not limited to visits to sacred sites in the area other than the pyramids, platicas, workshops, educational experiences and lectures, consciousness-raising focused intention círculos, etc. For sponsors of the embassy, there will be a yearly opportunity for a cohort of guests from their organization to reserve a two-week stay.
